About my research

I have been studying macroeconomic dynamics focusing on economic growth and business cycles. In particular, I have a keen interest in applying macrodynamic theory for the analysis of fiscal and monetary policies as well as for international economic issues. My main research topics included the growth effect of monetary and fiscal policies, the stabilization effect of the policy rules, growth models with equilibrium indeterminacy, and the effects of fiscal and monetary policies in the presence of firm heterogeneity. My current research topics are the relationship between public debt and economic growth, the interaction between trade and international finance in the presence of firm heterogeneity and financial frictions, and the impacts of population aging on economic growth and income
distribution.
